The American Apparel & Footwear Association is the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies and their suppliers, which compete in the global market and whose combined industries account for more than $225 billion in yearly retail sales. AAFA members also produce more than 85 percent of apparel and footwear sold at wholesale each year in the United States. AAFA members manufacture and market all types of apparel and footwear and are located in virtually every state, as well as internationally. AAFA's mission is to promote and enhance its members' competitiveness, productivity and profitability in the global market.
   

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), is a nodal agency under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and has been entrusted with the task of working towards projecting India's image abroad as a reliable supplier of high quality readymade garment and introducing Indian Apparel Exporters to the international market, with an idea of 'Dressing up the World'.  The primary objective of the Council is to participate in the overseas fairs, Buyer-Seller-Meet and specialized programmes like Road shows.

The Association of the Austrian Clothing Industry is an independent organisation within the Austrian Economic Chamber. 

The Association acts on behalf of the interests of its member in contact with national and EU authorities, within the Austrian Economic Chamber, versus unions, up-and down-stream parts of the textile chain and other national and international professional associations and provides a lot of useful services for its members. 
     

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) was established in 1996 as a national trade body to represent solely the largest export earning sector of Bangladesh. Now it is an association of about 1700 members.

 
Objectives of BKMEA:
1.       To protect the interest of the sector
2.       Export promotion and market development
3.       To enhance social compliance and productivity improvement of the sector
4.       To maintain effective networking with members, government, national and international bodies

中国纺织品进出口商会成立于1988年,是中国纺织服装进出口行业最大的全国性中介组织。截至2008年5月,共有会员逾万家,遍及全国31个省、市和自治区,从事各种纺织纤维、纱线、面料、服装、家用纺织品、产业纺织品及辅料的生产和进出口业务,进出口额占中国纺织服装进出口总额的70%左右。

中欧纺织联盟 (C.E.T.A.) 项目部于2005年2月,由德国纺织服装工业联合会、瑞士纺织和服装工业协会以及奥地利纺织工业协会三方携手在德中工商技术咨询服务(太仓)有限公司上海分公司内成立。随后,法国纺织工业协会、西班牙棉纺工业协会和芬兰纺织服装工业协会也依次积极加入。我们的宗旨是让欧洲的纺织服装企业充分了解中国纺织工业机制、纺织服装企业生产能力、市场和消费群体分布以及进入中国市场的途径等。
   

 

制衣业训练局乃依据工业训练(制衣业)条例于香港成立的非牟利组织,其主要职能是为制衣业提供训练课程,为训练课程设立及维持工业训练中心,协助完成训练课程的人就业及就征款率作出建议。

It advocates free world trade and the liberal development and strengthening of the multilateral trading system within the framework of the World Trade Organisation. Headquartered in Brussels, its members are national retail trade associations and individual firms from nearly all European countries. 
   
GIC-BCN:  Gremi de les  Industries de la Confecció  de Barcelona was founded in 1921. It is an entity representing the Apparel Industry in Catalonia and the companies involved.  It acts as an intermediary in all matters of interest between the Industry and its companies and Local, Autonomous, State, European and International Administrations, either directly and/or through other entities in which GIC-BCN participates or is an associate.  It is therefore the professional lobby group of the Apparel Industry in Catalonia.

香港出口商会1955年成立以来,一直关注香港的出口及转口商贸环境,并以服务、保障及拓展出口会员业务为使命。
   
香港纺织商会 会员以原「国产纺织品经销同业」成员为基础,随着国家政策和经济形势的发展,会员结构有所调整,范围不断扩大。成立初期会员逾千家,现经常参与活动的有数百家/人,包括香港及内地纺织、印染、制衣、家纺、零售等众多具规模的知名企业。

Hong Kong Shippers' Council was established in 1967 with the aims and objectives of protecting and promoting the interests of Hong Kong exporters and importers, traders and manufacturers in matters relating to the transportation of merchandise by sea, land and air. The Council has worked towards establishing a level playing field between shippers and service providers, such as shipping lines and airfreight carriers. 
   

International Apparel Federation (IAF) is a politically neutral global association, open to entrepreneurs and executives from the apparel chain worldwide.  Its membership includes national clothing associations and companies whose core business is sourcing, designing, development, manufacturing, distribution, and retailing of apparel products. In addition the IAF welcomes, as associate members, educational institutions and companies that supply textiles, accessories, equipment, technology, and services to the apparel industry. The IAF is a worldwide knowledge network that collects and disseminates information, statistical, benchmarking and otherwise, on developments in apparel design, manufacturing, distribution, sourcing, trade and technology.
   

Dutch Clothing & Knitting Industry Association (MODINT) is the Dutch trade association for fashion, interior design, carpets and textiles, an association with a clear mission.
The main task of MODINT is to strengthen the competitive power of the members and sectors they represent by means of a wide-ranging package of interest promotion and services, with the focus on content and quality. It goes without saying that MODINT continues to make every effort to expand our membership, in order to increase support and create a stronger competitive position.
MODINT is active in a great many fields to ensure that its members' interests are protected. These interests often converge in our active member groups, sections and working groups, which can count on the support of a professional organization. Most of MODINT's business services are incorporated into MODINT BV, in which the Consultancy and Credit Management activities play a major role.
The MODINT membership totals over 850 companies, active in the production of and trade in clothing, fashion accessories and (interior) textiles. They generate a joint annual turnover of EUR 8  billion, of which EUR 3,5 billion on export markets. 

   

The Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFf) was formed through a collation of the textile and garment associations in 1981. Singapore’s textile and garment industry has since then transformed from a manufacturing base to be a regional fashion, marketing and sourcing hub. TaFf takes an active role in nurturing the next generation of talents, facilitate marketing and exportation of textiles and apparels to the world, promote the betterment of business practices through the adoption of advanced technology. We encourage participation in research, development, innovation and other enhancement activity or social projects which add value to the industry.

纺拓会成立于19751125日,为配合国内纺织业发展需要,逐步扩大业务范围,陆续增加市场拓销、设计研发、流行信息分析、产业电子化、人才培训、经贸商情搜集研析、机能性纺品验证、刊物发行、产地证明书签发及产业服务等业务。近年来更不断提升服务质量,以流行性与机能性创新纺织品重新定位台湾纺品,获得全球买主的注目与热烈回响,成功地确立台湾为亚洲「机能性与流行性」并重的创新纺织品的采购中心。

   

香港付货人委员会于一九六七年成立,宗旨是维护及促进香港出入口商在海、陆、空货物运输方面的利益,保障付货人能在公平对等的情况下与货运服务经营者商议运费。
   

毛织创新及设计协会为香港毛织出口厂商会所推动於2008 年1月成立,本会由一班热心的业界翘楚积极地筹办及出资献力地推动,为香港的毛织业持续发展作出不少努力及贡献,使香港毛织业更为强大强壮发展。

   

韩国纤维团体协会1967年5月成立,在1980年5月改称韩国纤维产业联合会。
 
本会是一个半官方的非营利社会组织,其大型的活动资金来源于政府,需要议会的提案和总统报批。地位与作用相当于中国的纺织工业部,与韩国产业资源部关系紧密。
 
韩国纤维产业联合会致力于促进韩国纤维产业的国际化竞争力和纤维产业的长期发展,并为韩国国民经济的发展作出积极的贡献。
   

时装企业持续发展联盟由多家对行业本身有强烈社会责任感的香港时装公司所成立,旨在宣传及推广如何把可持续发展、以及环境保护的理念应用到时装供应链的各个过程中。随着全球暖化,空气及水质污染正严重威胁全球,再加上日益恶化的废料处理问题,时装企业持续发展联盟将致力创造一个能不断改善纺织、以及时装业供应链内各个可持续发展制作过程的平台,从而大大减低行业对环境构成的不良影响。
   

The Textile Council of Hong Kong, as a body representing all major textile associations, acts as a voice for the textile industry on matters that affect the industry. Such matters mainly concern with commercial policies affecting Hong Kong's textiles exports such as quotas and anti-dumping actions, Hong Kong's textile export controls system, the employment ordinance, environmental rules and regulations, taxation and tariff etc. It also undertakes by itself or jointly with other organizations study missions, projects, seminars and other activities.  
   

The Union des Industries Textiles (The Union of Textile Industries) is a French professional association that unites the professional employers' groups of the industry:
Professional federations and branches: cotton, wool, linen, cordage and nets, mesh, silk, lace and embroidery, artificial and synthetic textiles, finishing... ; or regions: Aisne, Alsace, Champagne, Lorraine, South-Pyrenees, North, Normandy, Picardy, Rhone-Alps.
Representing the majority of the 1000 textile companies active in France, the UIT fulfils the three following objectives:

- to support its members in their development : innovation, RD, international development, acces to finance...;
- to define the lobbying strategy for the profession and to be the spokesman for the industry to the decision makers for all subjects of common interest: taxation, research and development, social rights, sales and marketing policy, exports and international development, industrial strategy, protection against counterfeiting...;
- to improve professionnal skills within companies: since 1994, 21000 young people have benefited from combined work/study contracts and more than 320 000 young trainees from continuing training.                                                
   

The United States Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) was established in January 1989 by nine companies with a vision to create a unified voice for textile and apparel importers across the country.   USA-ITA provides education, information, and advocacy to executives active in textile and apparel sourcing, importing, compliance, and logistics. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., USA-ITA represents the needs of American retailers, brands and importers, as well as related service providers, with the objective to remove barriers to business and to trade.
